Reliance Jio announced Tuesday the rollout of its 5G services in 50 cities. It is the largest ever launch of these services.
These cities are located in Andhra Pradesh and Assam, Chhattisgarh. Goa, Haryana. Jharkhand. Karnataka. Puducherry.
Other States include Maharashtra, Odisha, Punjab, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu, Telangana, Uttar Pradesh and West Bengal.
According to the statement, Jio users in 184 cities now have access to 5G services.
The company stated that Reliance Jio had today launched its True 5G service in 50 cities, the biggest ever.
Jio users living in these cities will receive the Jio Welcome offer, which allows unlimited data at speeds up to 1 Gbps plus, for no additional cost. It is available immediately.
“We are delighted to launch Jio True 5G services to 50 additional cities in 17 states and territories. This brings the total number to 184 cities. Jio spokesperson stated that this is the largest 5G rollout in India and anywhere else in the world.
The cities include Chittoor, Ongole, Kadapa (Andhra Pradesh); Nagaon (Assam); Bilaspur, Korba (Chhattisgarh); Panaji (Goa); Ambala, Hisar, Karnal, Panipat, Rohtak (Haryana); Hassan, Mandya (Karnataka) among others.
